At Apollo Racing we aim for the moon.
Our Team & Finance Manager is Caio Domingos. His job as a Team Manager is to make sure that everyone on the team is doing their best and that they're keeping up with the work that needs to be done. And as a Finance Manager, Caio needs to keep track of the money to make sure the team is riding smoothly.
Rory Gilligan is our Graphic Designer. His the one who makes sure that we have an awsome logo. He's job is to create visual concepts for the team, for example, Rory will make sure that all of our sponsors logos, and our own logo, is on our pit display.
Our Manfacturing & Design engineers are Lucas Calvey & Lucas Hannigan. They are the ones who make our mini F1 cars. It sounds a lot easier than it actually is, that's because making a car takes a lot of work, they have to draw it first, then make it on a computer and finally 3D print it. They also need to make sure that the car is fast and that it follows all the guidelines.
Sponsorship & Marketing Managers
Cathal Walsh & James Gilmartin. These guys are responsible for getting companies to sponsor us, as we need money to enter the competition. They are working hard to get as many sponsors as needed.
About us
We are six students from St. Attracta's Community School. We signed up to be in the F1 in schools competition. We know that each one of us has strenghts and weaknesses, and we embrace that, but we also know that when we work together as a team, nobody can keep us off the racing track.
